Thank you for visiting the Hogwarts School of Magic and Witchcraft.
The Hogwarts School of Magic forum is a RPG (Role Playing Game) Forum.
You register, select a house, earn points for that house, win the House Cups, win the Quidditch cup, participate at lessons and so on.
What you mainly have to do is to write stories, short or long fanfictions related to sections you can find on the forums.
For example write a story about how "your" journey from Kingcross to Hogwarts was this year or discuss about the new strange kid in the Great Hall.
After you complete a story make a thread about it in the "Finished a story?" section and you will be rewarded.
As soon as teachers arrive at school you will be able to earn points by participating at lessons.
